Hyphen Nation on Star Wars Day

A topic that I’ve covered several times on THE BARACK OBAMA APPROVED WORLD’S GREATEST PODCAST is Star Wars. I’ve been a fan ever since I watched Episode VI: Return of The Jedi as a child. Years later, I found out that there were two whole movies that came out, my dad bought me the box set, and I was hooked. In honor of Star Wars Day, here are 3 episodes that focus heavily on a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

44. Solo Dolo

The first time was in the aftermath of seeing Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. I gave my thoughts on the film, tackled the Star Wars fanbase dividing over Rian Johnson’s vision, and talked about where I hoped Episode IX would go.

140. Immaculate Jedi Reception

The next time I jumped into the Star Wars pool was in preparation for JJ Abrams to retake the Sequel Trilogy reins for The Rise Of Skywalker. Cast members from Episode VIII were coming out against Rian Johnson, petitions had been signed asking Disney to strike The Last Jedi from canon, and I angrily lashed out at fans who weren’t satisfied we were still getting new Star Wars movies at all.

168. Star Wars: Revenge Of The Hot Takes (Costarring Marcus Robinson)

When I last visited the Star Wars universe, I brought Marcus along as we recapped the Sequel Trilogy as a whole. Along the way, we ended up ranking all of the Star Wars films and then gave our best Star Wars hot takes. I’ll tell you now, we stan The Last Jedi, so you shouldn’t be too surprised by anything we said here.
